“Few of us can easily surround our belief that society must somehow make sense. The thought that the state has lost its mind and is punishing so many innocent people is intolerable. And so the evidence has to be internally denied.” Arthur Miller

Toxic Soup

Maybe I have to write these pieces to keep from losing my mind. Living within a system based on competition and coercive exploitation goes against my very own being’s ideological existence. Industrialization has led humans down a very dark path. And collectively denial is used to subvert the truth from our collective consciousnesses. We don’t want to see the bad. I look and hate what I see. Most folks don’t look at all, and I can’t blame then for that stance either. Because you may end up screaming. It’s that ugly.

Then we have the corporate(MSM) media narrative directing the traffic of capital flows, the narrowing down of different aspects of multiple forms and ideas, down into consumable bite size pieces, all to control overall flows of ideas anathema to capitalist ideals. I stepped outside the post-modern box of discourse a few years ago for good. I have to analyze from afar to see the ‘real’, the actual doings of industrial pollution that’s killing us all.

Stop This Train

Transportation uses vast amounts of energy derived almost exclusively from fossil fuels. Electric cars still need electricity from some source to charge their batteries. Militaries too, consume vast amounts of fuel derived from the stored carbon underground as oil. It will all end someday. Earth, as big as she is, is still finite so we can’t live in a system based on endless expansion, or ‘growth’, as seen on TV.
